Prayer focus for the week beginning 16th April 2023:
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Alexander Gardens, Bartley Croft & Malthouse Walk
• The Parish of Shipton Moyne, also the Hymnathon at Beverston church on Saturday 22nd April
• Our Licensed Lay Readers
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering especially Paul, Petronilla Trustram Eve, David Lowsley Williams and Edward Baldwin. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind: John Saynor (18/04). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends).
• Praying for Sidney Hall-Wilson and Emily Atumah being baptised at lunchtime on Sunday 23rd April in St Marys’ Tetbury and their parents and Godparents.
• Local issues: for the Reflect Women’s Breakfast on Saturday 22nd April, that ladies who have not been before may find friendship and encouragement
• National issues: for our parks and green spaces, that they may be valued and protected
• World issues: On 22nd April – Earth Day – Invest in our Planet – may many more companies and organisations produce innovative solutions to limiting harmful products and in caring for our fragile world
Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. Heb.4:16
