Prayer focus for the week beginning 20th February 2022
• Tetbury Praying the Town: West Street and Cottons Lane
• The exercise groups in and around Tetbury – we thank God for these places where people feel encouraged to maintain and improve their physical fitness safely.
• The Parish of St Marys
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss especially Giles Preston. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind: John Lamb (26/02). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends).
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 2 Juniper Class with Mr Towers and Mrs Smith
• We give thanks for our charity shops and all the volunteers who give their time and energy to serve there for the benefit of local and national charities.
• National issues: that God, by his Holy Spirit, will call us as a nation back to Him in repentance and faith, and that our leaders may serve with integrity, honesty and for the common good.
