Prayer focus for the week beginning 21st May
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Braybrooke Close
• The Parish of Beverston
• Christian Aid collectors and all who volunteer for charity collections through the year
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss especially Pauline Bedford (Memorial Service at Christ Church on Friday 26th May at 1pm), Robert “bob” Hughes (Funeral at Marys’ Tetbury on Wednesday 24th May at 11.30am) and David Lowsley Williams (Memorial service in Tetbury on Thursday 27th July at 2pm). We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind: Barry Spruels (22/05). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends).
• Praying for Oscar and Lunar McGilvray being baptised in Holy Trinity Long Newnton on Saturday 27th May and their parents and Godparents
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Reception Lime Class with Mrs Pike – Mrs Wilmott /Mrs Freeman
• Local issues: pray for the restaurants & cafes in Tetbury, that they may be welcoming to visitors & provide safe spaces for people to meet up with friends
• National issues: Fostercare fortnight ((9th-22nd May) Pray for all those who offer homes through fostering, and that those being fostered will find security, understanding & love
• World issues: for increasing use of technology to share our Christian faith across the world
