• ‘Faith Explorers’ after school club leaders and helpers at St Mary’s CofE Primary School, that they may be sensitive in their presentations and that the children will respond with enthusiasm and grow in faith
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering especially Rob Bell. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends
• Year’s Mind: Bob Snuggs (26/09) and Valerie Bharucha (29/09). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends)
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 1 Plum Class with Mrs Beckett – Mrs Bell/ Mrs Amor
• Local issues: thank God for providing for our bodily needs as we celebrate the Harvest Festival, and for our local farmers who work so hard throughout the year
• National issues: for the NHS as it seeks to prepare for the pressure of providing extra beds and care during the winter months
• World issues: For the ongoing conflict in Ukraine, especially as the winter approaches. Pray especially for those providing shelter and aid for displaced residents and refugees – may they find hope and peace in God’s love, protection and mercy. Pray for those affected by floods in Libya and the earthquake in Morocco.
Save us, Lord our God…that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praise. Ps.106 V47
