Prayer focus for the week beginning 25th December 2022:
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Oxleaze Road, Oxleaze Close and Chestnut Close
• The Parish of St Marys
• All who contribute to the celebration of Christ’s birth through the music and carols
• That many will be drawn to the Christmas Day services and feel part of the joy in celebrating Christ’s birth
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• National issues: that there may be peace and harmony as families gather together to celebrate Christmas and New Year
• World issues: for countries to have a fresh vision and desire for world peace, security and the reduction of greenhouse gases as we enter a new year
