In our Gospel reading, Jesus uses the image of a tiny mustard seed to talk about the coming of the Kingdom of God. Although it is “the smallest of all the seeds on earth”, he says, yet it grows to become “the greatest of all shrubs”. In this image, we glimpse a powerful picture of the transformation that is possible in God, and his call to us to work to bring in his reign of love, justice, peace and truth.
Worship is led by Sarah and Liz.
