Sunday Worship 26th July

God be with you

Worship on Zoom, 10am, Sunday 26th July 2020

This week we reflect on what it means to work and pray to bring in God’s Kingdom.  Every time we use the Lord’s Prayer, we ask that God’s Kingdom will come and God’s will be done.  We explore God’s call to us to bring in his kingdom of love, justice and peace.  Here are the details for joining worship.

Praying for the breaking in of God’s Kingdom on earth:
God of new beginnings,
you long for us to live in love and justice,
with our neighbours, with friends and strangers,
with people everywhere.
Join our hearts with yours as we pray,
yearning for justice to be done,
for creation to be free from threat,
for the hungry to be fed,
for captives to be released,
for your kingdom of peace to come on earth. Amen.

And, as we do each week in our usual prayer sheet, we will be asking for prayers for those who have died, and for their families. This week we remember especially Fran Eddols.
