We reflect together on the account of the Presentation of the baby Jesus in the Temple, carried by Mary and Joseph, and recognised by Simeon and Anna who have waited so faithfully for the fulfilling of God’s promise of the Messiah. And we share in the words of the beautiful song of Simeon, thanking God for his Light come now into the world. This great Feast Day of Candlemas marks the end of Epiphanytide, and the revelation of Jesus as our Emmanuel, God come to us.
All are welcome to the service and there is no need to book
