WARM CLOTHING APPEAL
As we approach winter, and with the temperatures dropping, several charities are putting out requests for warm clothes. Coats you no longer need can make a huge difference to the homeless and vulnerable during winter.
Also, sweaters, hats, gloves, warm socks, scarves and boots can provide extra layers of warmth, particularly for those living on the streets. One charity has indicated that it particularly needs men’s clothing.
At St Marys’ Tetbury we will be putting out a box to collect any clothing in reasonable condition that you might be able to donate beginning this Sunday 5th November.
We have had a particular request for a pair of size 11 men’s boots or sturdy shoes in good condition.
With grateful thanks,
