We look forward to welcoming Thomas Powe, arriving on placement with us this week. Thomas is an ordinand, so training for licensed ordained ministry. As part of his second-year training, the placement is an opportunity to experience different aspects of life in new parishes, and to be involved in preaching and leading worship. I know you will make Thomas welcome, and encourage him. With thanks, Poppy
As an introduction, Thomas wrote: “Hello Everyone, my name is Thomas Powe. I am training to become a vicar in the diocese of Gloucester. I am delighted to be partaking in my placement in the Tetbury benefice. I will be with you all till the end of Easter and look forward to meeting many people. Currently I am a school business manager and live with my wife Roxanne in Thornbury. In my spare time I enjoy reading about Georgian history and love cooking at home. I worked in Tetbury so looking forward to being back in the area once again.”
