A Warm Welcome
St Marys' is a Christian church that believes that everyone is created in the image of God with unique characteristics, beliefs, abilities, and infinite worth.
We believe that Jesus came to give humanity true and complete fulfillment without discrimination.
We seek to be totally inclusive, and to remove all barriers to church life.
We invite all to join us in our faith journey toward greater love, understanding, and mutual respect.

Our Vision
Working together to serve God, our vision is for our church community to be:
- A place of vibrant Christian faith
- Connecting with our local community in loving service
- Helping others to know the story of God's love
This vision is supported by our five priorities:
- Growing disciples
- Helping children and young people know the story of God's love in their lives
- Providing loving pastoral care to our local communities
- Finding effective ways to communicate
- Developing imaginative ways to enable our church building to be a hub for our local communities

We promised to keep you up to date about what’s happening, so now we’ve completed Phase 1, so we have documented some frequently asked questions and answers.

Heritage
There has been a Christian place of worship on the site of St Marys' since at least 681 AD.
The PCC has recently reaffirmed its policy on gifts in wills. The PCC welcomes all gifts in wills, however large or small, and promises to use the gift to make a difference in our parish. Our PCC legacy policy is not to use gifts for general running expenses but to help fund significant development projects which will add to the life and mission of the church, whether buildings, equipment or staff.
