Our main Sunday service is the Parish Holy Communion at 10am. Attended by people all ages (with Little Fishes Sunday school for our youngest disciples), we come together to be fed by God’s word and sacrament. We offer inspirational preaching and beautiful music. It lasts just over an hour, and is followed by good coffee and conversation.
We also celebrate Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer at 8.30am. A quiet, contemplative service without music, in traditional language with a short sermon.
St Marys’ is part of a Benefice along with the villages of Beverston, Long Newnton and Shipton Moyne. Their usual Sunday service times are:
Shipton Moyne 11.15am
Long Newnton 9am First Sunday of the month
11.15am 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month
6pm 3rd Sunday of the month
iSingPop Celebrate is a family worship time, held at St Mary’s Primary School one Sunday each month at 4pm. Run by all the churches in Tetbury, we have Bible stories, do crafts, ask questions, sing iSingPop songs and have a short prayer time. We finish with tea together. Contact the Parish Office for the next date.
