• The parish of St Marys’
• Give thanks for those who welcome visitors during the week. May they have meaningful conversations with visitors.
• Local issues: give thanks for the ‘Wombles’, residents who join in organised litter picks to keep our town clean and tidy.
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Miss Janes and Mrs Amor and the pupils of Beech Class.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss, including John d’Arcy-Kincade, Sandra Withnall & Val Pearce. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind – Robin Roberts (18.4) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
• National issues: Pray for our armed forces, especially those currently on active service, that they may be deployed wisely and be protected in their roles.
• World issues: Pray for residents in Lebanon forced to leave their homes because of the ongoing fighting. Pray that they may find shelter, protection, food and water, and pray for aid agencies offering help despite their own personal risk.
I trust in the steadfast love of God for ever and ever. I will thank you for ever. Ps.52 Vs 8-9
