• The Parish of Beverston
• Please pray for the church organists, who so greatly enrich our worship each week
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss particularly Michelle Gardner, whose funeral will be at St Mary’s on Tuesday 15th October 2pm. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Praying for St Mary’s School – Year 4/5 Ash Class with Mrs Wheeler/Mrs Withers and Miss Rush
• Local issues: remember in prayer our local emergency services – pray for their protection and give thanks for their willingness to serve the community
• National issues: October 13th-19th is a week of prayer for prisons. Pray that the challenges of overcrowding will ease, and that prisoners will get the support they need. Pray also for prison staff as they face so many challenges to morale, safety and often inadequate buildings and resources
• World issues: Pray for all countries recently affected by flooding, including our own, that those who have lost homes and livelihoods may be given the immediate help they need and future rehabilitation
Righteousness and justice are the foundations of your throne; steadfast love and faithfulness go before you. Ps.89:14
