• Tetbury Praying the Town: Close Gardens
• The Parish of Beverston
• Remember in prayer and give thanks for the flower arrangers, who sensitively help to adorn our church
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering those we love. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Praying for Matthew Irvine and Kayleigh Sandell (Saturday 17th August), William Jeffery and Rebecca Bullock (Monday 19th August) and Bruce Ford and Jazmin Gardener (Saturday 24th August) who are getting married in St Marys’ Tetbury.
• Praying for Thea and Kit Crum who are being baptised in Holy Trinity, Long Newnton on Sunday 18th August and their parents and Godparents.
• Year’s Mind Paul Jackson (20/08). “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends.
• Local issues: Pray for the PCC as it works on drawing up a Parish profile to advertise for a new incumbent in our benefice.
• National issues: As plans are made to elect a new leader of the Conservative party, pray for God’s guidance on the outcome.
• World issues: Continue to pray for countries in crisis, especially Ukraine, Israel and Gaza, that the work of peacemakers may be effective in working towards just and positive outcomes, and that refugees may receive the food, shelter and medical aid they so desperately need.
Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Psalm 62:8
