Hands

Before you pray, give thanks that ‘You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer. (Ps.86 V.5)

• Tetbury Praying the Town: Silver Street, Fox Hill & Rope Walk
• The parish of Beverston
• Pray and give thanks for our church wardens and assistant churchwardens in all that they do in our churches. May they feel valued and supported.
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mr Buckland and Mrs Royle and the pupils of Maple Class.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss, including Sandra Withnall, Val Pearce & Sandra Morgan. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Local issues: pray for the new head at St Mary’s primary school, that she will settle in quickly and know the Holy Spirit’s guidance as she takes up her new responsibilities.
• National issues: Give thanks for all Christians serving in public office, especially MPs. May they have wisdom and courage in speaking out to maintain Christian standards in public life.
• World issues: Pray for the protection of desalination plants in countries in the Middle East threatened by the ongoing conflict. These plants are essential for providing adequate drinking water.

I trust in the steadfast love of God for ever and ever. I will thank you for ever. Ps.52 Vs 8-9
