- Pray and give thanks for our Tower Captain and Bell Ringers
- Local issues: pray for any youth activities being run during the summer holidays, remembering those who run them and that the young people who attend will have a really enjoyable time.
- We pray for St Marys’ PCC who will be meeting on Tuesday 20th May they be guided by you in their discussions and decisions.
- We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mrs Dolbear, Mrs MacIndoe & Mrs Lee and the pupils of Elm Class
- The Departed and those who mourn their loss including, Oliver Newbold and Christopher Hallpike. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends
- Year’s Mind – Rona Lowsley-Williams (19.7) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
- National issues: As schools break up for the summer holidays, pray that teachers will have time for rest, and that young people will use the time in positive activities
- World issues: As climate change becomes a growing threat, pray that governments, research organisations and energy providers will be given wisdom and willingness to make the right decisions
