Our prayer focus for the week beginning 21st August 2022:
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Gumstool Hill
• The Parish of Long Newnton
• Flower arrangers in the Benefice churches
• For Christian holiday camps – may many children and young people come to a personal knowledge of God’s love for them in Jesus
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering especially Olive Merrill, Brian Dejean and Peter Parkhouse. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Praying for Daisy Page who is being baptised in St Marys’ Tetbury on Sunday afternoon (21st August), for Zachary Botterill (St Marys’ Tetbury) and Maeva Mulraney (Holy Trinity, Long Newnton) being baptised on Saturday 27th August, and for Hazel and Joshua Smith being baptised in St Marys Beverston on Sunday 28th August. Praying for all their parents and Godparents.
• Praying for Scott and Kayleigh getting married in St Marys’ Tetbury on Sunday 28th August.
• National issues: with the release of GCSE & A-level results, may young people receive the encouragement, guidance and reassurance they need for the next phase of their lives
