• Tetbury Praying the Town: Conygar Road, Church Street and Market Place
• The parish of Shipton Moyne
• Please pray for a new initiative in Tetbury, starting on September 12th, called ‘Talking Heads.’ Its purpose is to raise awareness of mental health and suicide prevention issues. May those needing help or supporting vulnerable people be directed to this group.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss, particularly Martin Unwin. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends
• Local issues: give thanks for all the musical and dramatical events being held at the Goods Shed, and pray that they will be well supported
• National issues: As we celebrate the last National Bank holiday before Christmas, pray that people may feel refreshed and renewed as they resume the regular daily patterns of work etc
• World issues: Continue to pray against the spread of Ebola. Pray that the current efforts to produce a safe vaccine will prove successful and be produced at minimum cost.
Listen to my prayer, O God, do not ignore my plea; hear me and answer me. Ps.55: 1
