Prayer focus for the week beginning 26th June

Our prayer focus for the week beginning 26th June 2022:

• Tetbury Praying the Town: Coronation Road and Lowfield Road
• The Parish of Long Newnton
• The welcoming of Steve Bullock at the 10.30am Benefice service (10.30am 26th June in St Marys), followed by lunch on the Vicarage lawn – may it be a joyful occasion for all.
• ISingPop in St Marys churchyard 26th June at 4.00pm – that many local families will attend and be blessed
• The Church Fete in the Vicarage gardens (Saturday 2nd July) – that it may be a time of fun and fellowship
• Pastoral Assistants and home visitors, including Baptism visitors
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss, remembering especially Richard Blake. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind: Brian Freeman (30/6), Lionel “Lou” Evans(1/7). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends).
• Praying for Oscar Gabriele who is being baptised in St Marys’ Tetbury on Sunday afternoon, 3rd July and his parents and Godparents.
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 2 Holly Class with Mrs Miller/Mrs Pockett and Mrs Begum
• National issues: for our farmers who work constantly to care for crops, livestock and the land
