- Give thanks and pray for our Church Treasurers in their important role in guiding church financial matters
- The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends. We remember especially Alison Hesketh and her family and give thanks for her many years of faithful service and witness in the church, local community and beyond.
- Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 4/5 Ash Class with Mrs Wheeler/Mrs Withers and Miss Rush
- Praying for Benjamin Lawrence & Henrietta Kerr who are getting married on Saturday 5th July at Holy Trinity, Long Newnton
- Local issues: Pray for the annual St Marys Church fete on Saturday 5th July, that it will be a time of fun, food and fellowship, and will contribute to the financial needs of the church. Also, give thanks for the ‘Count on Nature’ day, especially for the amazing variety of moths and the number of bats discovered in the churchyard.
- National issues: pray for our government and advisers as decisions are made regarding future defence spending.
- World issues: Pray that the fragile ceasefire between Israel and Iran may not further escalate.
In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. Philippians 4:6
