Our prayer focus for the week beginning 29th May 2022:
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Cirencester Road & Hardie Close
• The Parish of Long Newnton
• Our police and security forces, as they prepare for extra visitors and activities in celebration of the Queen’s Jubilee
• We remember and give thanks for the Church fabric teams
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering especially Barry Spruels and Michael Auden. A Service of Thanksgiving for the Life of Michael Auden will be held in St Marys’ Tetbury on Friday 17th June. We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind: Robert Watts (01/06) and Vincent Woodman (02/06). (“Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends).
• National issues: we give thanks for our Queen, Elizabeth, for her many years of faithful service and Christian witness. May the weekend’s national and local celebrations draw communities together, and in safety
