• Tetbury Praying the Town: Northfield Road & Cattle Lane
• The Parish of Beverston
• Remember in prayer those who read the lesson during church services, also those who lead the intercessions – may the Holy Spirit guide their prayers
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss particularly Richard Turner. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind – Barbara Greaves (7/2) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death –often a difficult time for family and friends
• Local issues: Continue to pray for the appointment of a new incumbent to our benefice – may there be a positive response to the recent re-advertising of the vacancy and may the person of God’s choosing apply.
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 6 Oak Class with Mrs Danton and Mrs Weston
• National issues: Children’s Mental Health week begins on Monday 3rd February. Pray for our young people, many of whom suffer from anxiety and other mental health issues and pray that they will get the help they need. May they be guided to know God’s love, strength and peace.
• World issues: pray that the large iceberg floating towards the Antarctic may not threaten the habitat of the king Penguins or block the sea areas where they catch fish.
Yet give attention to your servant’s prayer…O Lord my God. 1 Kings 8:28
Are you, or someone you know, in need of prayer? You are welcome to hang your prayer request on the prayer tree in the prayer corner at the front of St Marys church
