• Remember in prayer and give thanks for our clergy – Revd Dr Steve Bullock (Curate), and Revd. Pauline Setterfield (Associate Priest). Pray especially for those interviewing candidates for the position of Rector, that they may have wisdom, discernment and know God’s guidance in any decisions made.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss including Derek Gardner, James Baker, Peta Pope and Gilly Aylmer. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Local issues: Pray for the newest member of the Tetbury Town Council, Mark Baker, that he will make a positive contribution in helping our town to flourish.
• Praying for St Mary’s School: Year 4/5 Ash Class with Mrs Wheeler/Mrs Withers and Miss Rush
• National issues: Continue praying about the bill currently going through Parliament, which if passed would make assisted dying legal – may the sanctity of life and vulnerable people be protected.
• World issues: Uphold in prayer our fellow Christians in places like Gaza and Sudan – may they know God’s protection and provision and stand firm in their faith despite their circumstances.
