• Tetbury Praying the Town: Wheat Hill, Wisteria Road & Woodward Close
• The Parish of Shipton Moyne
• Pray for our Deanery Synod Representatives and give thanks for their willingness to serve
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mrs Dolbear, Mrs MacIndoe & Mrs Lee and the pupils of Elm Class.
• We pray for George Groom being baptised in St Marys’ Tetbury and Willow Willcox being baptised in St John the Baptist Shipton Moyne on Sunday 3rd May.
• We pray for Liam Arnot and Rebecca Glover being married in Holy Trinity Long Newnton on Sunday 3rd May. We pray that it will be a very special day and the start of a life-long commitment, with God at the centre of their relationship.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss, particularly Sue Thody. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind – Sidney Wilkinson (4.5), George Birdwood (5.5) & Jack Dunn (7.5) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
• Local issues: Pray about the lack of parking spaces in Tetbury, that suitable extra provision may be found if required
• National issues: On Thursday 7th May local elections are to take place in a number of areas in the UK (not in the Tetbury area). Pray that people will use their votes wisely, and that those elected will act for the best interests of their area and its inhabitants.
• World issues: Give thanks for all who produce the food we buy, both at home and abroad. Pray that farmers may be able to obtain the fertilizers they need, currently being affected by the closure of the Straits of Hormuz.
• Continue to pray about the continuing conflict in the Middle East, for a just and permanent resolution, especially over the Strait of Hormuz. Continue to pray for a just settlement, peace and protection for the citizens of Ukraine.

The Lord is gracious and righteous; our God is full of compassion. Ps.116:5
