• The Departed and those who mourn their loss remembering especially Ruth Smith, and Michelle Gardner (Service of Thanksgiving on Tuesday 15th October at 2pm.) We give thanks for their lives, and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.

Pray that the ‘Open the Book’ sessions will continue successfully with the new afternoon time schedule, and that uncertainty about future leadership of OTB can be resolved. Pray that the children will enjoy celebrating the harvest festival.
• National issues: Pray for all those currently unemployed because of health issues, that they may be helped back into employment as appropriate.
• World issues: The 10th October is World Homelessness Day. Lift to God all those who lack the security and comfort of a permanent home and pray that governments may make it a priority to address this need.
