Before you pray, give thanks that ‘You, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call upon you. Give ear, O Lord, to my prayer. (Ps.86 V.5)
• Tetbury Praying the Town: Berkeley Way, Talboys Walk
• The parish of St Marys’. Pray also for the summer fete at Shipton Moyne on Saturday 13th June, and the Hymnathon at Beverston on 14th June, that both will be well attended
• Remember in prayer our Safeguarding Officers and all involved in DBS checks
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mrs Makin and Mrs Bell and the pupils of Holly Class.
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Local issues: Pray for the various cafés and restaurants in Tetbury, that those who work there may feel valued, and customers made welcome.
Pray too for the Great Big Green Week, that people will take practical action to protect our precious natural environment.
• National issues: Pray for all those seeking employment, especially young people, for whom work experience is a valuable part of growing up.
• World issues: Friday 12th June is World Day against Child Labour. Pray for the protection of children at risk, and that they may have access to education and proper care.
The Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations. Ps.100 V.5
