• Give thanks for the current beauty of the flowers in St Marys churchyard, especially the bright daffodils!
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Miss Keen and Mrs Walton and the pupils of Pear class
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss including Barrie Williams and Simon Spencer. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind – Jennifer “Jenny” Spice (11.3) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
• We pray for Elma Mulraney who is being baptised at Holy Trinity, Long Newnton on Sunday 8th March.
• Local issues: Give thanks that a number of the older buildings in Long Street, which add to the character of the town, are being renovated
• National issues: Give thanks for the ongoing service of members of the Royal Family, and pray for them at this difficult time
• World issues: Pray for protection and release for all those who are being unjustly held in prison for political reasons.
Blessed be God, because He has not rejected my prayer, or removed His steadfast love from me!. Ps.66 V.20
