• The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends
• Year’s Mind – Micky Ball (9.8) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
• Local issues: Give thanks for all the volunteers who offer their time and energy to serve in our local charity shops
• National issues: Give thanks for our emergency services, especially firemen, with the extra challenges caused by the recent heatwaves
• World issues: Pray for the current attempts at a negotiated ceasefire in the Middle East may continue and have a positive outcome
