Taizé in Tetbury – St Marys’ Church, Tetbury on Wednesday 12th June at 7pm. (Please note change of date) A beautiful, contemplative way to continue your Lent journey with prayer and chants from the Taizé community in France. From 6.30 for a very short music practise for those who wish. All are welcome to this ecumenical service. No need to bring anything except an open heart.

Everyone is invited to community events to mark the 80th Anniversary of D-Day – the largest naval, air and land military operation in history. This event will be marked across the world as a time to remember the selfless sacrifice and courage of all those involved and use this Commemoration to pay our tribute to those who gave so much to secure the freedom we all enjoy today. SHARING THE COMMON CUP From Sunday 9th June in all our churches Offering Holy Communion in both kinds, including the Common Cup This is a note to explain that, from Sunday 9th June, we will return to the traditional practice of offering the bread (host) and wine separately when we share Holy Communion, rather than “intincting” the host (dipping it in the wine). In making this decision, it is vital to note that anyone who is not comfortable with drinking from the Common Cup may receive the host only, which is also a traditional and wholly accepted way of sharing…
