Churches Count on Nature

BUGS in nature

“Churches Count on Nature”:
Many thanks to all involved!
We had a wonderful day yesterday (Saturday 12th June) discovering the wildlife in the churchyard of St Marys’ Tetbury. Thank you to everyone who made it possible, and to everyone who came along. And our special thanks to Rosemary Bailey who inspired us to join “Churches Count on Nature” and made it happen. In all we spotted 125 species – from lichen to bees, wild flowers to birds. And all our data will be added to a central register, to help us understand the diversity of wildlife in our churchyards.
