- As Lent begins, may it be a valuable time of reflection, contemplation and spiritual growth
- Local issues: Pray that the Lent home groups will be well supported and enable all those who attend to learn more of God’s will for their lives and grow closer to Him.
- We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mrs Danton and Mrs Weston and the pupils of Oak class
- The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
- Year’s Mind – Peta-Carolyn Pope (18.2) and Harold Porter (20.2) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
- National issues: Pray for all who are involved with providing support in schools for students with additional needs. Give them patience, insight and wisdom to know how best to care for, educate and encourage these students.
- World issues: pray about the implications of global warming on causing ice caps to melt more rapidly, and the subsequent threat of rising sea levels and the danger to low lying land areas.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness endures through all generations. Ps.100 V5
