- Pray and give thanks for the Tower Captain and Bell ringers, who turn out so regularly for practices and to ring before the Sunday service.
- The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
- Local issues: As the school summer holidays begin, pray for those running activities for our young people or providing meals for those families who qualify for free school meals.
- National issues: Pray for our MPs as they go off for the summer recess. May they return in the autumn with renewed energy, vision and commitment.
- World issues: With world temperatures rising as a result of climate change, pray especially for all those fighting to contain forest and other fires. Pray also for the wildlife whose habitats are destroyed by these wildfires.
In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. Philippians 4:6
