• Tetbury Praying the Town: Old Ilsom Farm Road
• The parish of Beverston
• Give thanks for newcomers to our churches – may they feel welcome and have a very real sense of God’s presence
• Local issues: Give thanks for the individuals who take it upon themselves to litter pick around the town
• We pray for St Mary’s School and particularly Mr Godfrey and Mrs Eke and the pupils of Rowan class
• The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
• Year’s Mind – Jane Fenwick (22.2), Anne Holder (24.2), Derek Gardner (24.2) and Michael Smith (28.2) – “Year’s Mind” is to mark the first anniversary of a death – often a difficult time for family and friends.
• National issues: pray that our democratic rights, especially in being able to vote in local elections where they are due, may be upheld and defended.
• World issues: Leprosy is still a major health issue in many countries today. Pray for the work of charities such as The Leprosy Mission, and pray that symptoms of the disease may be picked up and treated at an early stage, before permanent harm is done to those suffering, including isolation and rejection from their family and community.
For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness endures through all generations. Ps.100 V5
