Thank you for the warm welcome It has been a great joy to arrive in Tetbury in June and serve as full time curate for the next 3-4 years at St Marys’ Church alongside Revd Poppy (the Rector) and Revd Pauline (curate). Temporary closure of St Marys’ Churchyard 8-9th September This is to enable tree felling. The Town Council in conjunction with the PCC of St Marys’ Tetbury have sought permission from Cotswold District Council to remove one fir tree from the churchyard of St Marys’. Permission has been granted. The tree in question is by the North East door of the church. It has roots growing towards the church building which have already caused significant damage to the path and may potentially damage the church itself.
