  • The Departed and those who mourn their loss. We give thanks for their lives and pray for God’s comfort for their family and friends.
  • Praying for Cecilia & Margot McMeekin being baptised at Beverston and Poppy Fenton being baptised at Long Newnton on Sunday 27th
  • Local issues: give thanks for the Tetbury Trail and the opportunity it provides for walkers, their dogs and for those with disabilities. Pray that the resurfacing work will make it easier and safer for those using disability vehicles. Also, pray for the ‘Holiday at Home’ event taking place on Thursday 31st July and Friday 1st August, that they may be very special days for the guests, and that all the organisation will run smoothly. Give thanks for all the helpers.
  • National issues: Give thanks for designated beauty spots in the UK and pray that they may be protected and treated with respect and gratitude.
  • World issues: Pray that progress may be made in treating and eliminating malaria and in protecting vulnerable people, especially children, against it.

In everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be known to God. Philippians 4:6
