Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
From the many conversations I’ve shared, we now have a plan for returning to Sunday Worship in our church buildings. For St Marys’ Tetbury weekly services in church will begin on Sunday 4th July, alongside the services already being held in Beverston, Long Newnton and Shipton Moyne. Although this means our Zoom Worship will come to an end, we will be live-streaming the 10am service from St Marys’, with the recording put on YouTube as we do now for Zoom. Thank you to John Sharp for all is he doing to make that possible.
Over the next two Sundays, we are keen to celebrate all we have shared on Zoom as a worshipping community in the past 15 months. I know that for many of us it has been a source of spiritual sustenance, and a constant in a turbulent world. I am personally so grateful for this, and for all those who have participated and enabled this community. We made it together, and it has been a place for sharing both joys and sorrows, and journeying together in our Christian Faith. I thank God for you for all of this.
